I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York who grew up in Argentina. I received my Bachelor of Science in Communications from Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA). I was always involved in my community. I organized recreational activities for children, teens, and their families. When I was in college I developed an interest in yoga and meditation. I traveled to Canada and became a Hatha Yoga Instructor. Later on, when I moved to New York City, I was trained in yoga for kids. My journey continued and I completed my Master in Social Work at Fordham University. During my time at Fordham, I worked in a preschool providing behavioral intervention plans and parent groups. I also worked in a mental health clinic providing individual and group therapy and specialized in short-term treatment for anxiety, depression, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I continue to build my skills and am currently training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I also work in schools providing play therapy to children with special needs. I combine child-centered play therapy skills with mindfulness to increase focus, attention, self-regulation, and compassion.
I’m a registered Circle of Security Parenting (COSP). This program is designed for parents and caregivers of children aged 0-5 years who want to strengthen the bonds with their children and would like support to help their children build secure relationships.
I love providing play therapy and trauma-informed interventions using various sensory materials, puppets, and toys. I provide an affirming and non-judgmental space where unconditional positive support is the basis of healing.
